Money Services Business:

Money service businesses (MSBs) are required by FinCEN and some States to implement Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Programs effective to prevent their businesses from being used to facilitate money laundering or terrorist activities.

Money Services Business are required by law and their financial institutions to obtain a Third Party Independent Review of their BSA/AML Compliance Program.

Money Services Business are required to complete a periodic compliance officer training and employee training as a part of an effective BSA/AML Compliance Program.

Banks and Credit Unions:

Banks with a portfolio of high risk accounts, including PEPs, PICs, Import/Export, MSBs, etc required implementing and updating effective BSA/AML Compliance Programs to ensure that their customers are not facilitating money laundering or terrorist activities.
